Custom Web Design

A custom website without the messy parts .

Custom-coded, fast, and built around your business. No templates. No platform fees. No 11pm panic when something breaks. You get a website you actually own, and I take care of the rest.

01 ·Who it's for

A small business owner who'd rather not deal with this.

Read these out loud. If you nod even once, we should talk.

  • You've got a business and no website yet, and the thought of building one yourself makes you want to lie down.
  • Your current site is held together with duct tape and you can't remember the password to update it.
  • Your old web person disappeared and you're not sure what's even still working.
  • You hired someone, got a decent site, and then got ghosted the second the invoice cleared.
  • You want to spend your time running your business, not figuring out why your contact form stopped sending emails.

The good news: this is fixable. I do it for a living.

03 ·How it works

From hello to handoff.

01

Chat

Email me, message me, book a call, send a carrier pigeon. Whatever works. We'll have a real conversation about your business, and if we're a fit, I'll send a proposal within a couple days.

02

Build

I design and build your site from scratch. You'll see it come together and send me notes during the review rounds included in your proposal, so we can get it right together. You don't need to know anything about code. Pinky promise.

03

Launch

Your site goes live. I walk you through everything and I stick around. Every site I host launches on Managed Hosting or Managed Care, so the relationship doesn't end at launch.

05 ·Real questions

Things people ask.

The questions I get most often. If yours isn't here, send it over on the contact page and you'll get a real answer from a real person.

How much does a website cost?

A focused one-page website is $1,500. The most popular Business Website is $4,000 for up to six pages. Custom websites start at $6,500 when the project needs a larger structure, involved migration, unusual layouts, or custom functionality. You get the complete project price before I start.

How long until I have my website?

It depends on the size of the website, my current availability, and how quickly feedback and approvals come back. I give you the actual project schedule in the proposal. If you have a date in mind, tell me early and I'll tell you what's realistic.

Wait, is the website actually mine?

Yep. The code, the files, every line of it. It's yours. I manage the code and hosting while you're on a plan, and if you leave I provide the source files, available data, and a clear list of what needs to move. No holding your site hostage. That's not how I operate.

Do I have to be on a monthly plan after launch?

Yes, if I host it. Every new website launches on Managed Hosting or Managed Care. Managed Hosting keeps the technical side running, includes daily automated availability monitoring and a deeper weekly health check, and gives you one small support request each month, up to 30 minutes. Managed Care includes all of that, gives you up to 60 minutes for routine changes, and adds a detailed monthly SEO report covering visitors, leads, Google visibility, keyword movement, and what to do next. You choose the plan in the proposal, but billing doesn't begin until launch.

I'm starting from zero. Is that okay?

Totally okay. I can write your site copy with AI tools and walk you through what photos you'll actually need. AI imagery can be included when it fits, and a larger image library can be quoted as an add-on. You don't need to show up with all your ducks in a row. Figuring that part out IS my job.

What if something breaks after launch?

Daily automated availability monitoring runs on every site I host, plus a deeper weekly health check, so if it goes down, I'm usually the one who knows first. I investigate and handle technical fixes tied to the existing build under your plan. Managed Hosting includes one small monthly support request, and Managed Care gives you more room for routine changes. Life happens, weird stuff comes up, and that's why I stick around.

I already have a website. Can you just rebuild it?

Absolutely. A website redesign is most of what I do, usually for people who want a Squarespace alternative, or are getting off Wix or some old WordPress nightmare. We keep what's working, map the addresses that need redirects, and rebuild the rest. Large migrations and unusual systems are quoted separately. Send me your site link and I'll see what we're working with.
