Kickstart Creatives
For small business owners who'd rather be doing literally anything else.
You and I both know your website situation could be better. The good news: you don't have to figure any of it out. Custom-coded, fully yours, and handled by an actual human who picks up the phone when something needs fixing. Which, since we're going custom, will be approximately never.
30 minutes. No pitch.
01 · Who you are
Spoiler: I've fixed all three.
Your last web person vanished. Took your logins, took your goodwill, never answered another email. Now your site has a broken contact form and a copyright year from two presidents ago.
I'll handle the rescue.
02 the brand new oneYou know you need a website. You do not, under any circumstances, want to spend a weekend learning Squarespace. You'd like to hand the website thing to someone competent and go run your actual business.
I'll start clean.
03 the over it oneYou've tried the templates. You've watched the tutorials. You're done with the experiment and ready to give it to someone who does this for a living.
I'll take it from here.

03 · Client love
Barb blends aesthetic instinct with serious technical skill. She created a polished, incredibly functional AI tools directory for my community. The structure makes complex information simple and works flawlessly.
Her passion for design and insightful approach brought our mermaid vibe to life over the past nine years. Barb has an incredible ability to decipher my ideas and pays attention to the minute details that matter. She makes the design process enjoyable and seamless.
What a pleasure it's been working with Barb. She knows the right questions to ask to nail down the vibe you're looking for. She put together the perfect website that captured my needs, showcased the animals, and reflected my desire for a straight-forward vibe.

Scoped per project, every web app gets a custom quote. Here are three common starting points to give you a feel for it.
05 · What's included
You're not going to find out three weeks in that "oh by the way that's extra." Every site gets all of this. Built in, no upsell.
Looks right on a phone, a tablet, a giant monitor, your aunt's old iPad. All of it.
Real copy on every page, built around your business and your voice. Use it as-is, tweak it, or replace it with your own words.
The boring kind that actually works. Done correctly so you don't have to think about it.
Blog topics and page angles your ideal clients are actually searching for. So you're not staring at a blank page when it's time to publish.
Sends to your real inbox. Not a portal you'll forget to check.
The green lock thing. No "wait, what's a nameserver" homework for you. I set it up. You don't think about it.
Two weeks of small tweaks after launch (or 30 days on the Custom package). Caught a typo? Want a photo swapped? Send it over.
A recorded tour of your site at handoff so you actually know what you've got and how to use it.
06 · After we launch
The end of a build is usually when designers disappear. Every site I build comes with the option to put it on a Site Management Plan. Translation: I keep a hand on the wheel after launch. Updates, small edits, the occasional "why is it doing that?" email at a reasonable hour. You don't get a launch and an Irish goodbye.
Copy, swaps, new pages on request.
Uptime, broken links, the boring stuff.
Real-person email replies, not a portal.
07 · Not a fit if...
I'll get inspired by what's working in your space, sure. But "make mine look exactly like theirs" isn't a brief, it's a tracing project. That's not how I roll.
That's a real thing some people want. I just don't build it.
I run the design process. You give me content and feedback. If you want to art-direct from a Pinterest board, we are going to be miserable together.
I'm great. I am also one person. If you need a team on call, you need a team.
I do good work and I charge fairly. Rush jobs at bargain prices aren't a service I offer.
Foundation first. We can talk apps once the base site is real.

08 · About
The "tech bestie" thing isn't a marketing angle. It's just how I work.
I've been building websites for non-tech-people for over a decade, which means I've had a lot of practice explaining things in plain English. You hire me, you get me. Not a team, not a handoff, not a "support ticket." Just one real person who answers her own email and doesn't disappear after launch.

09 · Real questions
Real questions from real first calls. Not the FAQ generator's idea of an FAQ.
Two weeks for the Starter and Business packages, four-ish for Custom. The clock starts when I have what I need from you. Most of the "this took three months" stories you've heard are about clients who took two months to send their content. Get me what I need on time and we're good.
Less than you think. I'll send you a list. Photos, copy, logo if you have one, basic info about your services. If you don't have copy, that's fine. AI-assisted copy is built into every package. We start from a draft, you tell me what's right and what's wrong, we get to final.
Yes, and I do this all the time. We rebuild your site in custom code, point your domain at the new one, and Squarespace becomes someone else's problem. You stop paying their monthly fee. Your site gets faster. Nothing about your URL changes, so you don't lose any SEO juice.
No. That's literally why you're hiring me. If you've got "fixed the printer" on your resume, you have all the tech skills required to be my client.
If you're on a Site Management Plan: you tell me, I fix it, you go back to your day. If you're not on a plan: same thing, except it's billed at $100 a session. Either way, your site doesn't stay broken.
Logo and branding, no. I have people I refer for that. AI brand photography, yes. There's an AI Photography add-on that bundles into the build. If you walk in with no brand assets and need everything, we figure out the order of operations on the call.
Nope. Your site is yours, always. The code, the files, all of it. If you're on a Site Management Plan and decide to leave later, I hand you everything the same business day. No charge, no drama, no holding your site hostage.
10 · The next step
No deck. No pitch. Tell me what you've got and what's been bugging you about it. I'll tell you whether I'm the right person to build it. If I'm not, I'll point you somewhere good.
